Mark Bottita, M.A.

Mark has been teaching interpersonal communication, speech communication, and media literacy courses since 2001 at Tri-State University, Cape Cod Community College, Indiana University, and, currently, Southwestern Michigan College, where he teaches Human Communication. His stand-out experiences with non-tradtional, adult students led him to form Elder Forest Publishing Group in 2003 while working in Boston.

An educational publisher, Elder Forest's products and services explore the ways in which communication skills and media literacy impact wellness in aging. Bottita sees this focused approach on communication skill development as one additional tool for ensuring continued social engagement and development across the life span.
